![]() Creating and adding both Terrace Farm and Fountain of Youth shrink kits to GE and Relics would be a great way to increase the stats per square while also helping alleviate the constant battle against space limits. I would not be surprised if we see something sometime this year. The shrink kit increased the per square stats of WWs helping to keep them relevant against more recent event buildings.Īlong those same lines, I think the prizes in GE could use a refresh. Halloween, Inno increased the stats of the Mad Scientist's Lab, fall event Inno added another level to the Cider Mill, this year's Carnival upped the ante of the popular Cherry Garden Set configuration. It's one of the ways that Inno has been responding to power creep. Why 3x3? Why not 5x5 or 4x5? What's the effects of making this change on peoples cities? Will it make those smaller buildings obsolete in some way or cause the game to compensate by getting even more powerful small buildings then what we have currently?Ĭlick to expand.I disagree. Especially as you've chosen a 3x3 shrink for the suggestion. Of course it'd be welcomed by players and everyone would love a smaller terrace farm, I just want it justified from a game play point and not purely a wanting to make more from it point. ![]() If it's not competing with the smaller buildings and can stand on it's own merit then there's no need to shrink the building. For players with too many things to aid the terrace farm relieves from that burden so not just the most valuable things but everything gets the motivation it needs.Ī shrink kit won't necessarily be a bad thing, however I would like to have some basis as to why it is in need of being shrunk. For players with limited stock of buildings it provides a greater FP then they otherwise would have. But does it really have to compete with the smaller buildings? Is it really competing with those buildings in the first place or does it compete on the grounds of your current needs and alternate possibilities at the time of having the terrace farm?įor end game players the terrace farm takes up less space and population for producing goods then the alternative. If your city is full from events then fair enough. Unless you're dropping hundreds or maybe thousands of dollars (depending on country and bonuses at time of purchase) it's unrealistic for a city to advance through the ages and be filled with only events unless they've been playing for enough years to acquire events greater then their city space Unless you're camping for an extended period of time you need to be able to fill up your city space with something. It's also not a bad thing if you have room in your city that can't be filled entirely with the smaller things as it gives additional options until you can gain more of those smaller buildings. Something being big isn't necessarily a bad thing if it's a lot easier to obtain and in higher quantity. Uriah for those "much smaller buildings" - how accessible for obtaining are they in comparison to the Terrace Farm? Are we talking about once off buildings in events that you might only get one or two of during an entire year or are we talking about something that's more common place?
